Waiting for Sunday
presents all manner of one-off events, from the experimental to the over-rehearsed, from the sublime to the ridiculous. Often off-beat occasionally on-the-one, we bring you original jazz, pop, poetry, folk, film, cabaret and other irregular happenings.
Admission charges vary for Sunday night events - tickets should be paid for in advance via this website or in person at the restaurant. The menu on a Sunday night is a reduced choice of special dishes written up to the blackboard. It is OK to just have a drink and not eat - although most people do eat.
There is a cabaret seating arrangement for most events, which take place in the back room. The front room is usually open as usual to diners not attending that week's Waiting for Sunday event.
We don't actually issue physical tickets for most events, but reserve a virtual ticket and book actual table space (and a chair) for the corresponding customer - when they/you purchase their/your ticket.
