Carmen and Dick's Summer Special this Sunday September 9th.

We’re all going on a Summer Holiday!

Get on The Love Bus. It’s a cheesy double decker and we’re all invited to climb aboard, with Carmen and Dick in their itsy bitsy teeny weenies.

A very special laugh-a-minute musical extravaganza. Richard and Judy meet’s Punch and Judy.

From 7pm, cover charge £4. Free stick of rock for anybody wearing fancy dress. (The theme is “Summer Holiday”)

In other news our Stevo - master of The Web - has been on secondment to the BBC and has come up with an all new flashtastic CBBC zone. The Waiting Room site was the first he ever developed, and then this! Between them his two sites – The Waiting Room and CBBC get an average of five million and thirty hits a day. Well done Stevo!

In other news, The Waiting Room has been invited to provide a Waiting Room Café facility at this year’s Mima artist Fayre; The Really Super Market – It’s a food v’s art battle of healthy hearts and minds with food and art producers pedaling their wares side by side. Taking place on Saturday September 22nd outside Mima Art Gallery in Middlesbrough. We are putting on a programme of music and poetry throughout the afternoon – if you’d like to be considered to perform in our tent please email luke@the-waiting-room.co.uk.

p.s. Carol at The Waiting Room has got two tickets to see The Police in London this coming Saturday, she can’t go now because she’s going to be way too busy peeling lentils, so if anybody out there would like to buy them please call Carol at the restaurant (01642 780465) She’d like to get close to face value back for them if she could – they were £65 each (!) If you do buy them and go to the gig be sure to be back in Eaglescliffe by 7pm the following night for Carmen and Dick’s Summer Nights The Musical.
