The Waiting Room

Newsletter - Tuesday 20 May 2008

In this week's mail out:

This Bank Holiday Sunday Evening May 25th, from 7pm

The Waiting Room presents a stunning line up in the shape of

David Thomas Broughton, 7 Hertz, and Men Diamler

This is an amazing line up of shape-shifting, boundary warping alt. folk artistes. David Thomas Broughton layers and layers haunting refrains and harmonic strains of soulful folksong with his voice, guitar and sampler, 7 Hertz with who Broughton has previously recorded are a kind of punk chamber orchestra improvising around rehearsed themes and new ideas, and Men Diamler from a far flung corner of this isle, brings his own brand of woozy operatic folk sound to the mix.

You'd be a fool to miss it! The cover charge is a measly £6. Award winning food and splendid organic wines always available.
