Here's some more details:

Come and Heckle 2 Comedians, each practicing their art and resilience ahead of their show at this year's Edinburgh Fringe.

June 10th - David Ward and Nik Coppin

David Ward is a friendly, upbeat comic with a cynicism that gives his comedy a unique gentle bite. Fluid, quick thinking and with an original take on life, David is much sought-after as both a great comedian and compere.

Nik Coppin: "His confident, affable and energetic style of comedy is quick to build audience rapport, as he talks about subjects as wide-ranging as observations on human nature, his experiences in the Antipodes, his extensive knowledge of wildlife, current affairs and his mixed race up bringing in London."

Plus Carmen and Dick! We can't vouch for the stand-ups as we've not seen them yet, they might be funny, they might not be - but one thing's for sure - Carmen and Dick are hilarious!, and terrific dancers.

one way or another it'll be a great night!

July 1st - Terry Saunders and Gordon Southern and Bob Fischer

Come and Heckle 2 Comedians, at our 2nd night of hilarity, (different Comics from the first time) each practicing their art and resilience ahead of their show at this year's Edinburgh Fringe.

Terry Saunders: As a stand up comedian Terry Saunders has done over 200 gigs across the UK. In 2005 he was a finalist in the Laughing Horse New Act Competition and in 2004 he reached the Final of the London Comedy Festival New Act Competition. Last year he took his first one man show, "Romantic Comedy" to the Edinburgh Fringe.

"a loveable loser with witty one liners and good audience interaction …Much to cry at, much to squirm at but much to laugh at too." Three Weeks

Gordon Southern: The globe-trotting funny funny man who has trotted around the world - on his trotters - alot - has attracted these reviews: "Razor sharp wit and cavernous imagination" Evening Standard "Hugely talented" Time Out "Worth the admission price alone" City Life "An energetic mirth making talent that would shame many comics with years more experience… A cracking night" The Scotsman "Top class all round" The Sunday Times "Had the audience in stitches" DB magazine, Australia

“Plus Bob Fischer is going to present a preview of his sci-fi convention travelogue complete with slide show. Bob’s spent a year immersed in Doctor Who, Star Wars and Red Dwarf fandom and has some terrifying tales to tell!”

July 8th Stephen Carlin and Robin Ince

Stephen Carlin - Fantastic Voyage:

Join this new Scottish comic in his battle against the humdrum and mundane. With razor sharp routines and a fancy suit, he has only 60 minutes to save the world... or give it a temporary reprieve.

'Sharp and original.'
The List

Robin Ince (born 1969) is an English stand-up comedian, actor and writer. His stage style tends towards erudite rambling, often at break-neck speed. He is also an adept impressionist, having performed his John Peel on The 11 O'Clock Show, which he also wrote for.

Ince appeared at the Cafe Royal as part of the Edinburgh Fringe show Rubbernecker, alongside Stephen Merchant, Jimmy Carr and Ricky Gervais in 2001.

Ince appeared in The Office as failed interviewee Stuart Foot, and features prominently on Ricky Gervais's 2004 Politics DVD. Ince has appeared on numerous nostalgic clip shows on British television, where he and other comedians appeared as talking heads.

In 2005, Ince began running the Book Club night at The Albany, London, where acts are encouraged to perform turns of new and experimental material. The club gets its name from Ince's attempts to read aloud from - and humourously criticise - various second-hand books which the audience and himself have brought in for the occasion. The Book Club proved to be so successful that Robin took it on a full UK tour in 2006, the same year he won the Time Out Award for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy.

Super. Last week's mail out, didn't make it out of the system for some reason, it would only have cluttered your spam box anyhow. If you'd like to read it it's up on our site here.
