This Waiting For Sunday
& Bank Holiday Monday

The Songs of Nick Drake

Performed by Keith James and Rick Foot

Back to back dates for this wonderful concert described by Mark Radcliffe as "a must", in fact "an absolute must" was how he described it.

The show has been performed to well over 50,000 people in arts centres, boho cafe's and theatre spaces throughout the land to great acclaim,

but The Waiting Room back room is where it will really come to life.

Expect wonderful musicianship as Keith James and Rick Foot on double bass pay tribute to the three albums worth of Nick Drake's cherished legacy.

It's from 7pm on Sunday, and again on Monday. Cover charge for each night = £7

Elsewhere; Hats off to WorldService Project - an excellent Jazz Fusion band of hugely talented young tearaways who wowed us on Sunday gone.

Look out for them if we lure them back everybody. They go down very well with a couple of bottles of Torrontes.

No pics this week - Stevo says there's nothing wrong with our "insert object" protocol, but I say "I've tried and it's not having it." To see a picture of Nick Drake type "Nick Drake" into google or wikipedia. There's a picture of Keith James and Rick Foot at www.the-waiting-room.co.uk/wfsw

We're ready to go with a few recipes for the site now so long as our pictures upload - we've got a huge backlog of requests, but please send any new ones if there are recipes you would especially like to see on The Waiting Room site.
