Earth - The Power of The Planet; what an incredible epic little docu-series! - I've not heard many people going on about it but I've rarely been so moved and amazed by the telly. A combination of Wild-Life-On-One-spectacular-filming, Google Earth scaling, time lapse, CGI, rousing music and Dr Iain Stewart like a super-geography teacher bounding about on outwards bounds - brings a beautifully structured explanation of the workings of the planet. It's out on DVD now, and would make a rather nice Valentines gift, from a lover to their lover perhaps or maybe from one who loves to a loved one, which brings us neatly to our...

A truly scrumptious set meal for the humble price of £30

a sharing plate of broken artichoke hearts, wilted roast red pepper, feta, marinated kalamata olives and garlic mushrooms,

followed by

intense tomato soup with black olive croutons and tapenade

fig and gorgonzola salad with orange and raspberry dressing

followed by

spicy puy lentils on roast butternut squash with grilled goats cheese

mushroom, cashew and gruyere wellington

fragrant thai rice bowl of green coconut curry

followed by

rhubarb, vanilla and ginger crumble

We have a few tables left - starting from 6pm - (for those who want to eat and then leave in time to enjoy the whole series of Earth - The Power Of The Planet on DVD) last bookings 9pm.

Alright. We're a little bit week to week with Waiting for Sunday at the moment but this week we are presenting two excellent artists from Brighton Based Nu-folk collective Drift.
